Take care of our products - maintenance recommendations
A Vegetable-Tanned Leather Product Lasts a Lifetime
Since it is a natural product, it is recommended to take care of it to keep it soft, elastic, and beautiful over time.
Cleaning and maintenance should be performed at least twice a year or as needed.
Any dirt or dust can be removed with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth, gently rubbed over the entire surface.
After cleaning, the leather should be conditioned with a suitable natural wax or cream using a lightly moistened cotton ball, applied in circular motions over the entire surface. We recommend testing in an inconspicuous area first, as each leather type reacts differently, especially when it is in its most natural and less refined state.
If the product gets wet, for example from rain, simply remove excess water with a soft cloth and let it air-dry away from heat sources.
When not in use, the leather product should be stored in its cotton bag, which protects it from dust and allows it to breathe.
Leather should not be stored in overly humid environments, which can cause mold, or near heat sources, which can dry it out and cause cracking.
To clean Olona canvas bags and accessories, gently rub them with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, you can use a specific stain remover for this fabric, preferring natural products and avoiding bleach or harsh detergents.
With proper care and maintenance, your product will retain its beauty and softness for years to come.
