Shipping policy
Shipping and Delivery
The shipping of ordered products will be carried out by express courier service under the following conditions:
Expected Delivery Times:
- Italy excluding islands, Calabria, Venice: 1-2 working days from goods preparation.
- Italy islands, Calabria, Venice: 2-3 working days from goods preparation.
- Europe: 2-3 working days from goods preparation.
- United States: 1-3 working days from goods preparation.
- Rest of the world: 3-4 working days from goods preparation.
Shipping costs will be calculated based on the weight-volume ratio of the goods and the final destination, and will be shown separately in the cart at the order completion stage. The shipping costs shown include VAT for the destination countries, where applicable. For shipping and delivery, Silwart uses qualified and specialized couriers who work with competence and care for the goods.
When the products are delivered to the courier, a tracking number will be provided to the Customer, with which the Customer can monitor the shipping and delivery process directly from the courier's website.
Deliveries will be made on all working days, excluding holidays.
If the Customer needs to change the delivery conditions stipulated by the Supplier by making arrangements directly with the courier, any extra costs for such changes will be the sole responsibility of the Customer.
With the delivery of the goods to the courier, Silwart concludes its service and cannot be held responsible for any incidents that may occur to the goods during transportation.
Silwart cannot be held responsible for deliveries made late or failed deliveries due to force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control (e.g., holiday periods, company closures, strikes, natural disasters, customs procedures, and circumstances beyond its control).
Shipping costs will not be refunded under any circumstances, even in case of late delivery. For packages not picked up by the Customer and returned to the Supplier, shipping costs will not be refunded. Only the purchased product will be refunded, deducting any additional shipping costs for returning the goods to the Supplier.
In case of international shipments with final destination outside EU, all customs duties, clearance fees and import taxes are exclusively at Customer's care and charge.
If the shipment goes into storage despite several delivery attempts by the courier, storage fees must be paid by the Customer at the time of collection.
For shipments in Italy and abroad, insurance coverage can be requested for the goods in case of loss and/or damage.
This insurance coverage can be requested by the Customer at the time of order and will be quantified in the order confirmation.
Silwart disclaims any liability in case of loss and/or damage to the goods by the courier.
In the case of free shipping, any insurance coverage, redelivery costs, return costs, storage costs, and delivery change costs are always and in any case borne by the Customer.
Upon delivery by the appointed courier, the Customer is required to check the integrity of the packaging and its contents. If the packaging and/or product appear to have been slightly damaged during transportation, the Customer must necessarily make a reservation on the courier's waybill. This means that upon signing the receipt document accompanying the goods, the Customer must indicate the wording "subject to quantity and quality control" to seek compensation from the courier in case of damage.
The Customer may choose to refuse the package if it is visibly damaged, noting on the courier's waybill that the package was rejected because it was seriously damaged.
